Banana Bread Recipe

For the mix:

  • 3-5 bananas, raw (the more, the better)
  • 1 ripe pear or apple (pear is better)
  • ⅛  cup brown sugar (for the mix)
  • ⅛ cup brown sugar (for the pan)
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • 1 Egg, whole, raw, fresh
  • ¼ cup Butter, with salt
  • 1 ½ cups Wheat flour, white,
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose, enriched, bleached
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt, table
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Directions:

Step 1:

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and sprinkle ⅛ cup of brown sugar around the pan for a crunchy sugary crust.

Step 2:

Combine bananas, pear/apple, sugar, egg, and butter together in a bowl. Mix flour and baking soda together in a separate bowl; stir into banana mixture until batter is just mixed. Stir salt, cinnamon, and vanilla into batter. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.

Step 3:

Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center of the bread comes out clean, about 1 hour.
